To be on the journey
is enough.

The Quest

As I wander through the streets,

I find myself begin to weep.

For there are people everywhere,

Who often think that no one cares.

They are so lost and feel alone.

Who to trust, when you have no home?

But as I bend upon my knees,

And tell them that they can believe.

I feel the pain within them grow.

Just as if it were my own.

They gaze into my tear-filled eyes,

As I take their hands in mine.

I do not flinch or turn away.

Instead, right there I start to pray.

I hear the heavens above me roar.

As my thoughts begin to soar.

A message from the Lord above,

Approaches me with hope and love.

We ought to take a minute pace.

In order to subdue this race.

A race where finish may mean death,

Or life, if you pursue the quest.

But in the end if you choose faith,

God’s love prevails - you will be safe.

Makes everyone feel good;
In every place and language,
It's always understood.
And hugs don't need new equipment,
Special batteries or parts -
Just open up your arms
And open up your hearts.
