1. The feeling of competence and self-confidence is basic to success.

2. To earn a living, a person must have confidence in dealing with other people. Usually these other people want or need some specialized service or help, or some specialized item.

3. Today a young man must know what he can do well. Otherwise, he won't be hired to work, or his work won't satisfy his boss. And rather than learning that he is good, the young man will learn that he is no good.

4. A young man can get twenty wrong answers on a test at school and still receive an A grade. On the job, often two mistakes gets a young man fired! A superior student therefore can fail in the workaday world. Does this mean that school teaches the wrong lesson?

5. A better integration of school studies and earning money should be created, so that the most able students understand how to succeed at work for pay. It's not good when a good student is lost to the work-force. In fact, it's a loss to all of society. Benjamin Franklin started the Public Library system. Some modern Ben Franklin type idea-person with mega social clout needs to propose the better educational system.

6. A young man who does well in school studies can't make errors playing ball or in conversation without being ridiculed, shunned or teased. Yet the other students can make a score of sixty five percent or less on a spelling test or a math test and not be subject to any social punishment at all.

7. It's apparent from this that school subjects just aren't considered important in "real" life. And what's important in "real" life is food, superstition, warfare or readiness for warfare, athletics, personal attractiveness, material goods, and pleasant sociability. This also was the case during the two million years of human existence before any school work was done. In light of human evolution, the modern popular disregard for and scorn of intellectuals is understandable.

8. Leaving room for some error in the workplace makes way for more diversity and more creativity in humans as more computers and computerized robots do the work now being done by billions of highly stressed human workers. Even so, social progress is slow, and today behind their backs many naturally intuitive persons are dismissed more politely as "ahead of the times", and less politely as "probably brain damaged" or just plain "wacko".
